How to Make Friends

Not everyone is good at making friends, especially if you have just met a person you are interested in.

Here are some ways that can help you win a friendship.

      1. Show interest. Ask questions, listen carefully and show interest in the other person’s life and interests.
      2. Be friendly and open. Smiling, being friendly and having a positive attitude can create a pleasant atmosphere and attract the other person.
      3. Find common interests. Common interests can be the basis for developing a friendship. Discuss common interests, hobbies, or favorite activities.
      4. Be genuine. Be yourself and do not try to pretend to be someone else to please the other person.
      5. Offer help. Offering your help and support in solving problems or completing tasks can strengthen your relationship.
      6. Establish contact. Try to maintain communication and establish contact with the other person by suggesting meetings or socializing.
      7. Positive approach. Strive to maintain a positive attitude and maintain a positive atmosphere when interacting with potential friends. Optimism and a good sense of humor can help attract attention and win people over.
      8. Spend time together. Offer to spend time together, participate in common events and activities or simply spend time in each other’s company. This will help strengthen your relationship and create closeness.
      9. Be supportive. Support each other, express care and attention and support the other person in their life’s efforts and aspirations.
      10. Trust and respect. Respect each other, trust your friends and display friendships based on mutual respect and trust.
      11. Be open to new relationships. Winning friendships requires being open and willing to try new relationships. Be willing to meet new people and build relationships with them based on genuine friendship.

Remember that friend-ship is a mutual process and in order to win friendship, you need to be open, sincere and ready to give and receive support. Good relationships require time, effort and mutual respect - but at the same time they can become a source of joy, support and understanding in your life.
