The prohibition of tattooing

The prohibition of tattooing

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him, has prohibited tattooing for more than 1400 years and cursed who did it. And this prohibition was at a time when no one knew anything about its harmful effects.

And the strange thing is that a recent scientific research has shown that tattoo definitely causes cancer! It was stated in the Sahih of Al-Bukhari, “The Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, has forbade one to bear tattoos and the tattoo maker.”

This hadith indicates the severe prohibition of tattooing because of the harm it carries to man and that God has cursed one who does it. It has been scientifically proven that tattoos cause many diseases, mainly cancer because of the chemical substances that are injected into the body.
