Life of a muslim woman

Life of a muslim woman

The Holy Koran notes the special position of women in Islam in many ayat. Almighty Allah has dedicated a whole chapter to the beautiful halves of humanity.

At the same time modern society has its own value system. Communities where people do not follow religious norms are more likely to have an ignorant attitude towards Muslim women. When choosing a life partner such people pay attention to twealth, prestige, and family status. Members of these societies focus only on the external attributes.

As for a believer, he rather prefers inner peace and harmony in the family. When choosing a life partner, he chooses a righteous person. And whoever chooses worldly wealth instead loses. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “A righteous wife is the best treasure in the world.” (Narrated by Ibn Majah)

According to the Holy Koran, the superiority of one person over another is not in wealth or position in society but rather in piety and righteousness. The role of a Muslim woman in society is extremely clear, as Islam tells that men and women are equal before the Creator.

A Muslim woman should not go anywhere without the accompaniment of a mahram (for example, her brother or father). Does not this indicate the value of her life? This way of protecting the life of a Muslim woman is a demonstration of the culture of Islam.

The clothing of a Muslim woman speaks of her moral and spiritual values, as well as of her life ethics.

Women of other religions have numerous questions concerning the status of a woman in Islam: why the hijab, why does one need to cover all parts of the body? Where does a Muslim woman find so much strength and energy to go against public opinion in modern society?

A woman who covers herself, and at the same time experiences some difficulties because of this, is equated with a warrior who defends the truth in the path of Allah the Almighty. She is considered to be defending the canons of her religion. She struggles for the healthy morality of society and the purity of human relations. She is to receive a huge reward from the Almighty for her endurance and patience.

A Muslim woman is destined to fulfill a great mission on the earth. Few people will understand the religion of Islam, if we, Muslim women, are silent.

If we do not work, preach or hold conferences, how will the world see the light of Islam? We truly believe that our patience will be rewarded. Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn.” (Narrated by Al Bukhari)

May the Almighty guide us on the true path!
