Seven Scientific Facts Testify that Muhammad ﷺ is Sincere

In this research we will demonstrate some scientific facts which have been mentioned in the sayings of the Prophet (Hadith), and which modern science have proved are true.

The most beautiful moments in the life of the believer are when he sees a miracle in the sayings of the Prophet ﷺ. In searching through his sayings we realize that there are modern scientific revelations which testify that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sincere. Such research may make a good contribution to the correction of a Western conception that the Prophet ﷺ was illiterate.

First Fact

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to his companions, “This subject will reach all places just as night and day” which means that Islam will spread to reach all places the just as night and day reach every place on earth. Indeed, today statistics show that the religion of Islam is in every place in the world. These statistics indicate that by the year 2025, Islam will be the first religion all over the world according to the number of followers. This is not an exaggerated claim, as these figures came from non-Muslim scientists.

Statistical experts confirm that Islam is the fastest growing religion and there are Muslims in all countries all over the world, albeit in different ratios. This poses the question, is this not the same as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to his companions 1,400 years ago?

Second Fact

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The ground was made for me as a place to pray and also a method to be pure.” (Narrated by Muslim). In new research scientists have discovered that there are antibiotics in the soil, which can kill the most obstinate kinds of bacteria, proving that soil is a disinfectant. Today, scientists are searching for a killer for the most obstinate kind of bacteria extracted from soil. After many tests in laboratory, they found that in a 24-hour period, soil can remove an entire colony of bacteria.

Thus scientists have discovered that soil contains antibiotics, and without this feature life would not continue because of microorganisms that may reach humans and eliminate them, but God with His mercy has provided a cleansing feature to ensure the continuation of our life.

Third Fact

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spoke very carefully about a scientific fact realized by scientists a few years ago. He said, “God will not hold the day of resurrection unless Arab land becomes green and has rivers again.” (Narrated by Muslim). Scientifically, it has been proved that once the Arabian Peninsula was full of greenery and rivers: satellite images confirm that there are buried rivers under the sand of Arab lands.

NASA scientists confirm that once the desert of Rub ‘Al Khali and the Arabian Peninsula were covered with rivers, forests and animals and that this land will back again like the past, as referenced by the prophetic hadith.

Fourth Fact

A hadith about on the Day of Resurrection is considered to be one of the scientific miracles included in the prophetic Sunna. In this hadith the Prophet ﷺ says, “Do you not see that lightning comes and returns in the blink of an eye.” (Narrated by Muslim) There is complete identification between our Prophet’s saying and a most recent discovery that a lightning flash happens when a ray of lightning flashes out of a cloud toward the ground and back again! In the above hadith the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ very carefully described such phases of lightning and also determined the time as being in the blink of an eye!

Scientists had found that lightning has many phases and the most important phases are the going down phase and the going back phase. The duration of the lightning flash is 1/25th of a second, which is the same that of the blinking of an eye. I this not the same as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said 1400 years ago?

Fifth fact

Recently, scientists have discovered that that the forelock area (upper and front of the brain) controls correct decision making: so as long as this area is active and efficient, decisions taken would be more accurate and wise. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ says in a supplication, “Oh God, my forelock is between your hands.” (Narrated by Ahmad). This is a full submission from the Prophet to his God (be he exalted) acknowledging that God controls and predetermines however and whatever He wants. Scientists have also discovered that the forelock area plays a vital role in realizing, steering, problem solving and creation.

After extensive studies into brain activities, scientists have discovered that the most important area is the forelock (forepart of the head) as this area is responsible for creation and steering operations, just as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ confirmed that this area is of such importance: this is a miracle which testifies that the Prophet was sincere. How could he know about that issue at a time when no one knew anything about it? Allah taught him all of that as He says (meaning), “And taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allah unto you.” (Sura An-Nisa, ayah 113).

Sixth Fact

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “One of the signs of the Day of Resurrection is sudden death.” (Narrated by At-Tabarani). Certainly, in this hadith there is a scientific miracle concerning a medical fact which is considered as being a testimony to Muhammad ﷺ being Allah’s prophet. United Nations statistics confirm that the phenomenon of sudden death has appeared in recent days and is increasing despite all preventive procedures.

Heart doctors confirm that the phenomenon of sudden death has spread considerably in the last few years, despite developments in medicine. Isn’t this the same as was indicated in the prophetic hadith?

Seventh Fact

Most scientists confirm that senility is the best natural end for human beings, and that attempts to prolong life beyond certain limits may cause many effects, one of which is cancer. Lee Silver from the American university, Princeton, says, “Any attempt to reach immortality is opposite way to nature”. Therefore, it is useless to spend money to treat senility as the money spent was millions of dollars. This is the same as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “Oh you, slaves of God, you have to treat yourselves from illnesses, as each illness has a treatment except senility: it has no treatment.” (Narrated by Ahmad).
