Want to Keep Warm: 3 Ways to Stop the Cold

With the coming of the cold winter, one of the most pressing questions for fragile women is “how not to get cold?” There are a lot of ways and methods how to do that, you know. Here below I would like to share with you some effective tips.

1. “Hot” food

Remember that winter is not the best time for strict diets. No, we do not urge you to eat buns and pies but one should not starve in cold January as well. Did you know that in the cold season one can eat 400 calories more per day? If you do not want to suffer chronic fatigue syndrome, then have in your winter menu soups and broths from lamb and chicken, as well as eating nuts, potatoes, cheese, pumpkin, dried apricots, bananas and grapes. If you need to warm up fast, onions, garlic, cumin, ginger and cinnamon will help you!

2. Tricky gadgets

Various types of gadgets have actively invaded our lives and sometimes they can be really useful. For example, USB gloves are designed specifically for those whose hands are always icy. They look like regular fingerless gloves, but can be charged by connecting to a computer and heat up to 46 degrees. By the way, USB slippers work on the same principle. Another discovery for freezing people is heated insoles. If you are fond of long walks then use a thermal package. Put it in a jacket; it will create extra warmth.

3. Loneliness leads to cold

Scientists have established a connection between feelings of loneliness and cold. Lonely people freeze faster. And as soon as we look at a photo of a loved one or remember about mom, dad, children, we feel a tide of warmth. The more effective method is hugs. We, people, are warm-blooded and hence produce heat. Hug your loved ones more often and forget about the cold!
