Your Body Cells will Bear Witness against You

Scientists have managed to save data on bacterial DNA for thousands of years. Such techniques enable scientists to develop information regarding the cells of humans for instance or even regarding water molecules.

It could be said that information could be saved on any and every organism. Hence, Allah, the creator made our body cells capable of saving all kinds of information. This is why body parts will bear witness with or against people on the Day of Judgment. This is a fact that has been revealed in the holy Koran in a great verse in which Allah, the Almighty says:

“On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions.” Surah An-Nur, verse 24.

This verse answers the doubts of all sceptics who deny the Day of Judgment and believe that hands and legs cannot speak as scientists have proven that body parts save information.

Confronted with such a fact, we cannot but glorify Allah, the Exalted.

Retirement Age

Biologists have discovered that old people should continue to work and that the retirement age is wrong because aging-associated diseases enormously spread among those who have stopped working after a certain period of time.

All glory to Allah since there is no retirement age in Islam as Muslims continue to work until the last moment of their lives. Allah, the Exalted, for instance says in the holy Koran:

“And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is certain.” Surah Hijr, verse 99.

“The hour that is certain” means death. It follows therefore that worshipping God never stops even if a man is dying.

All praise to Allah for the grace of Islam.

The Lightning

Lightning is a complicated phenomenon; scientists discovered its secrets in the twentieth century.

Scientists say that when a beam of lightning starts to be released from the base of a cloud which is negatively charged towards the earth which is positively charged, the opposite charges meet and a collision occurs; the lightning beam rushes with a speed of more than one hundred thousand kilometers per second.

Also, scientists have found that lightning has many phases and the most important phases are the descending phase and ascending phase. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says about lightning: “Do not you see that the lightning comes and back in the blink of an eye.” (Narrated by Muslim).

Scientists say that the duration of a lightning flash is one twenty fifth of a second and this is the same as duration of the blinking of an eye. Is not this the same as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said 1400 years ago?

Is it not a miracle which proves that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is sincere and inspired from Allah Almighty?
