How to get rid of wrinkles on the forehead?

Wrinkles on the forehead can appear at any age. This is facilitated by mobile facial expressions, incorrect posture, stress and excessive tanning.

Is it possible to get rid of these sad folds without resorting to the services of cosmetologists? Let us share with you some useful tips.

Massage

Self-massage is a budget-friendly and effective way to reduce the depth of wrinkles and slow down the process of their formation. The forehead muscles are constantly overstrained due to visual stress. We often frown because we are characterised by regular control and hyper-responsibility. By massaging, we stimulate blood circulation and relieve swelling. It is advisable to perform this procedure twice a day, using essential oils and anti-aging cream. When self-massaging, it is important that your back is straight, your shoulders are lowered, and your head is raised. Place your fingers above the brow ridges and make spiral movements, trying not to pull the skin, but to massage the muscles. The pressure should be noticeable but pain is unacceptable. Self-massage should be done for 3-5 minutes.

Peeling

Many people forget about such an important stage of facial skin care as peeling. But this particular procedure helps get rid of deep wrinkles, improve skin color, and give it elasticity. When purchasing a peeling product, pay attention to its composition. Mandelic acid has a mild effect and is suitable for you if your skin is sensitive and prone to rosacea. For mature skin, it is good to choose a product containing lactic acid. Glycolic acid is more powerful and quickly penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen synthesis. Peels based on salicylic acid are suitable for problem skin. This procedure should be done once a week for three months. You cannot peel if the skin is damaged – if there are scratches, inflammation or irritation.

Taping

Kinesio tapes are widely used in cosmetology, have no side effects and are a budget-friendly and effective way to deal with wrinkles. There are many diagrams and video tutorials on the Internet on how to use tapes but when using them for the first time, it is better to consult a cosmetologist.
