Potato casserole with beets

Potato casserole with beets

Dear sisters and housekeepers, here is another recipe for an inexpensive, tasty and healthy dish.

Ingredients (for 4 servings): potatoes - 750 g; beets - 200 g; eggs – 3; sour cream of any fat content - 200 g; salt - to taste; ground black pepper - to taste; butter - 10 g.

Peel the potatoes, cut into thin circles and leave for 15 minutes in cold water. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Take a deep baking dish and grease it with butter. Place the potatoes in a colander to drain the liquid.

Spread half of the potatoes on the bottom of a casserole, add salt and pepper to taste. Next clean the beets and also cut into circles. Spread them as the next layer and also add salt and pepper. Put the remaining potatoes as the third layer and add pepper and salt again.

Next beat the eggs in a bowl, add sour cream, salt and pepper, and mix. Pour the resulting mixture into the casserole, cover with foil and put into the already preheated oven. Take out the dish in an hour, remove the foil and return to the oven for another 15 minutes, so that the dish is browned. Bon appetite! A delicious casserole is ready. Enjoy your meal!
