A husband is not a piece of furniture

A husband is not a piece of furniture

Some women put their children in the first place in their lives, pushing their husband into the background.

Gradually, he becomes like a piece of furniture. No one notices him. But, of course, he exists...

Let us share with you some actions of a wife that will help her husband gain his proper position in the family.

  1. A wife should instill respect for their father in her children. In her husband’s absence, she should tell them not to do anything that their dad will not like or how to behave when their father comes home. Let us imagine a situation: your husband comes home tired and hungry after work. You can explain to the children that when their father comes into the house, they need to come up and say hello. If mother is not at home, older children - regardless of gender - should warm up his food and feed their father.
  2. Try to cook deliciously. No one has canceled the proverb “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. You can cook food in different ways from the same products. The choice is yours: to do so tastily or just anyway it turns out. The result is obvious.
  3. The comfort of the home is also important for men. If the house is always tidy and everything shines with cleanliness, even the poorest house can become a warm nest to which you always want to return. Therefore, pay special attention to the cleanliness of your house. After all, when everything is clean, we feel good and it is pleasant to receive guests.
  4. Try to ensure that your husband’s wardrobe is always in good condition and that his clothes are clean and ironed. No matter how untidy your husband may be, he wants to leave the house handsome and neat. Every man wants to feel the care of his wife and children and to know that his family needs him. Then he will be drawn home.
  5. Make sure that the bed linen on which your husband sleeps is clean and smells nice. This point may seem unimportant to someone but, in fact, every man pays attention to it. And when he is outside the home, he analyses the attitude of all household members towards himself and is either attracted or repelled by their behavior.
  6. Be feminine. This is the only thing that men do not have. Try to speak to your husband quietly, softly, so that he will enjoy listening to you. Do not be shy to show tenderness and affection.
  7. Thank your husband - for his work, for gifts, for all sorts of little things, for every sign of attention. Sincerely rejoice in his desire to make you happier. Many of us value the reaction of a loved one. Your bright emotions will warm your husband’s soul. Do not be shy, show that you sincerely feel.
  8. Adorn yourself for your husband. Please his eyes with your appearance. Add bright, elegant home clothes to your wardrobe, in which you will be comfortable and cozy. Buy perfume with a pleasant aroma. When your husband gets used to it, wherever else he senses this aroma, he will think of you.
  9. Hide your husband’s shortcomings. Everyone has their own minuses. And during their life together, a wife inadvertently learns about them. But this does not mean that you need to tell anyone about them. Focus your gaze on your husband’s virtues.

Each of us is influenced by many factors. We all want care, attention, respect and love from loved ones. And if we observe many positive moments in the family circle, then we want to be home as soon as possible. Family is constant work but this work is not in vain. And its result is happiness and well-being in both worlds!
