Do not waste your time

Do not waste your time

Do not waste your time

We did not even notice how the Internet became an integral part of our lives. Some of us began to simply spend their whole time in it, escaping from reality and everyday life.

And for many, the way of life that strangers show on their pages on social networks is but a dream.

We dream of getting what others have and live the life they have. After all, they present everything so beautifully on the Internet. But is everything really so perfect for them? Our faith teaches us not to envy and for this we need to look not at how people with great income live but at those families that God has allocated with less inheritance than us. And then we will feel gratitude to Him, compassion for those in need and we will not envy. This is because we live better than millions of other people on this planet. This is where we should concentrate our attention - not on bright pictures and videos through which people make money by creating staged filming but on how many blessings the Almighty has endowed us with. How many loving people surround us. We must think about how much that is useful we can do today, how to please our family and friends and even strangers.

Believe me, behind colourful images there can be much pain and disappointment, unfulfilled hopes, lack of love, understanding and much more. Therefore, do not focus your life on the screen, without knowing what is behind it. Better learn wisdom from the older generation, benefit society, please your parents. Create a cozy, joyful environment at home so that everyone who enters it feels pleasant and comfortable. Give your loved ones warmth, love, care, tenderness and attention. Engage in your own development. Read books, study what interests you. Fill your day with a maximum of useful things both for yourself and for those around you. You are an individual and should not copy someone else’s life. After all, you see only one side of a person, not knowing what he or she hides inside themselves. Better take care of yourself and reveal your abilities and talents. Thus, when your life is filled with meaning, you will not be as interested in how others live. You will not want to waste your precious time watching someone else’s life every day, because yours will sparkle with new bright colors! Spend your life usefully, it is the only one you have!
